The conference, hosted by the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) in collaboration with the Kosovo Association for Health Promotion and Education, took place 26 – 28 October 2017. The conference was attended by representatives of Institutes of Public Health in Albania, Croatia and Macedonia as well as IPH staff from across Kosovo.
On the opening day of the conference NIPH launched and provided participants with copies of two documents that were developed with the support of AQH: ‘Standard and Guidelines for the Production of Health Education Materials’ and ‘NGO Guide on Standards for the Production of Health Education Materials’.
‘Standard and Guidelines for the Production of Health Education Materials’ – this document describes the standards that are required by NIPH so that all health education materials are of good quality. It also describes the process that NIPH will follow to ensure that all materials meet the necessary quality standards.
‘NGO Guide on Standards for the Production of Health Education Materials’ – this document provides guidance for NGOs and other organisations that may be involved in providing health education on how they can produce good quality materials that meet national standards.
