Based on international best practices and according to WHO standards, AQH designed Service Packages (SPs) for the management of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) aim to improve quality of Primary Health Care (PHC) by setting procedures and tools for the Main Family Medicine Centers (MFMCs) of the project partner municipalities.
It includes the necessary means for a better health education for people at risk of NCDs or for those who unfortunately were diagnosed with Hypertension or Diabetes Type 2.AQH Project continues to disseminate the SPs model within the project partner municipalities.
During an initial meeting on Mach 19th, four more municipalities (Gracanica, Obiliq, Junik and Rahovec) were included in the dissemination plans for the near future implementation and so they joined the group of the other eight project partner municipalities (Mitrovica, Gjakova, Vushtrri, Malisheva, Fushe Kosova, Lipjan, Drenas and Skenderaj) implementing already the SPs in their own settings.
