Implementation of Service Packages is based on the World Health Organization (WHO) ‘Packages of Essential Non-Communicable Disease (PEN) Protocols’. Doctors working in MFMCs from 5 service package municipalities (Fushe Kosova, Gjakova, Mitrovica, Vushtrri, Malisheva) were part of the workshop where they were introduced on how to use the: WHO PEN Protocol, WHO risk charts, Hypertension and Diabetes Passports etc. It is foreseen to organize the same workshop for doctors working in Family Medical Centers (FMCs) from these 5 service package municipalities before rolling-out the implementation of service packages in FMCs.
