Dr Leah Bohle from Swiss TPH provided a further training session for those people who are identified as potential trainers for the Gender Awareness and Social Inclusion module that will be delivered for PHC providers in our project facilities in the future. The training was attended by 20 participants comprising Heads of MFMCs, Family Doctors and Nurses and Master Trainers for PHC and builds on the introductory training already provided by Leah in November 2016. The training focused on how to use the ‘Gender Awareness and Social Inclusion Toolkit: A Training Guide for Family Medicine Trainers’ which was developed and presented to participants during the earlier training, and is accredited by the CME Board.
