AQH project is supporting the implementation of a cohort study in Kosovo – the first of its kind in the country. Led by the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the study aims to contribute epidemiological evidence for the control of chronic diseases in Kosovo as the basis for policy and decision making. The recruitment of study participants in 12 Main Family Medicine Centers has been ongoing since March 2019 and is expected to continue until the end of summer. Participation in the study includes a 30 minute interview followed by a short health assessment as well as a follow-up every 6 months.
