AQH project conducted monitoring and supportive supervision visits during Phase 1 implementation of service packages in 4 MFMCs to oversee the process and adjust any interventions needed. During monitoring visits in the MFMCs the following were monitored: the flow of the patients in Health Resource Centers (HRCs); functionalization of HRCs; the utilization of implementation tools; quality assurance of the basic equipment’s through the contracted medical equipment suppliers etc. During the monitoring visits it was identified that the healthcare staff needed additional support in: using the Non-invasive glucometer and in managing the healthcare data on periodic basis. Therefore, additional trainings were organized on: ‘Non-invasive glucometer’ and ‘Monitoring and Evaluation’ for data management.
