Directors of Directorate of Health and Directors of Main Family Medicine Centers attended a six day training leaded by Dr. Manfred Zahorka, Senior Public Health Specialist with more than 30 years experience on quality assurance and quality management, and currently holds the position of the Project Leader at Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute.
The training was focused on Understanding and Measuring Quality, Quality Management models, Continuous Improvement, Patients and stakeholder views, Internal Audit.
Participants were able to understand Modern Quality and it’s aim that it is better to prevent than inspect, continuously ask what can be done better so they can ensure Continuous Improvement in the Institutions that they manage, the skill to negotiate and work with others to achieve goals as the main Role of Leadership, to be able to select the appropriate monitoring, measuring and diagnostic tools as a powerful mechanism to drive health system performance improvement.
