On 15th May 2017, Master Trainer for PHC Dr. Fevzi Sylejmani conducted a training on Gender awareness and Social Inclusion. This training was held in Prishtina to PHC providers (doctors and nurses) from Fushe Kosova, Obiliq, Skenderaj, Drenas,and Lipjan.
This training module is accredited by the CME Board and topics include: Inequity in Health & Social Inclusion; Health, Gender & Sex; Gender in Health Care; and The Gender Lens Tool.
These training sessions are being rolled out following the ToT training on ‘Gender awareness and Social Inclusion’ which was held by Swiss TPH expert Dr. Leah F. Bohle during November 2016 and it is planned that the training will in the future be delivered to other PHC providers in other project Municipalities.
