European Patients’ Rights Day was commemorated this year through a roundtable discussion focusing on the theme “Choosing Your Doctor, Everyone’s Right.” The event placed particular emphasis on the fundamental right to select one’s healthcare provider. Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Health, such as Deputy Minister Dr. Arsim Berisha, and Mrs. Fatmire Kollqaku, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Health and Social Welfare. Dr. Yllzim Dyla from the Family Doctors Association also took part. Organized by the Patient Rights Association in Kosovo – PRAK and supported by the AQH and IHS Projects, the discussion also presented the findings of PRAK’s survey on the selection of Family Doctors.
