We recently wrapped up a two-day training session for journalists and institutional communicators, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. It was an incredible experience working with passionate individuals committed to delivering accurate and impactful health stories. During the training, the communication expert from Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, Layla Hasler, also former journalist, covered essential topics like fact-checking, ethical reporting, and leveraging social media effectively in journalism. We were privileged to have two esteemed guest speakers: Saranda Ramaj and Arton Konushevci, acclaimed health journalist, also recipients of awards for health reporting.The trained journalists will cover stories for our NCD Symposium (www.ncdsymposiumkosovo.org) while using techniques ellaborated in the training.Special thanks to Associaction of Kosovo Journalistsfor their support in making this happen!
